Reason: Shangri_la is definitely one of my favorite authors and I pretty much read everything she writes. This has to be one of the darkest fics ever written. If only Season3 had taken the direction this fic did I may have liked it more, I at least would have understood and enjoyed Piz's presence more. But alas, it did not.

Reason: I'm not much of a Logan/Parker fan but I do like to see the characters step out of their usual relationships and try to have a relationship with someone else. I thought this story was done really well. The author, to me, succeeded in making Parker's character feel very organic and not one dimensional as most fics seem to do. The story is mostly from Parker's point of view but shifts between all three in a smooth and well written way that's not distracting and adds to the plot.

Reason: Why should you read this fic? Ummm, can you say "hot hate sex"? That's the only way I can think of to descibe it. The story takes place somewhere in the first half of Season1 when Logan and Veronica still hates each other and turns that hate into something...positive. Yeah, I really can't do this fic justice, it really speaks for itself and it's snarkalicious (ok, I'll stop with the lameness now)

Title: Damn, Damn the Circumstance by invida

Summary: AU. If Logan hadn't left Shelly Pomroy's party with the freshman.

Reason: There are few S1 AU fics that I really take a liking too and this happens to make it on my top 5 list despite the fact that it is still a writing in progess but I am confident that the author will see it through. It's dark, angsty, and will have you on the edge of your seat. Extremely well written and stays true to canon despite it being AU which most fics usually fail in.

Reason: I'm not a big WeeVer fan but when I heard about this fic and its surprising plot twist, naturally I was intrigued and thus began a new obsession. Eventually I gave up hope for a Lo/Ve hook-up and came to accept and even like this pairing, that doesn't mean I didn't cry at the shocking revelation towards the end. No spoilers from me, if you want to know what happens you'll have to read. ;-)

I couldn't have said it better. This fic has definitely made it onto my list of top favs and is a great homage to Logan's speech in 2.20 "Look Who's Stalking" (also used as the summary) which is a great compliment because few fics, in my mind, can achieve that goal successfully. This fic is just so adult, the characterization is spot on, and the plot mystery is so captivating that it'll have you on the edge of your seat. This fic is a must read and will definitely have you refreshing the page for a new update.
